New Home Construction – POA Approval Process

◦The following items need to be submitted to the Canyon Lake Forest Board at [email protected] (or mailed to: Canyon Lake Forest POA PO Box 1431 Canyon Lake, TX 78133) for review and approval:

– Plat/Site Plan – A home needs to be at least 600 square feet,  may not significantly block a neighbor’s view of the lake and  must comply with set back and easement requirements. Tree removal must be approved prior to cutting any oaks on property.
– Blue print of the floor plan
– Elevation plan showing front, back and sides
– Septic permit with the design from Comal County (final)

***NOTE – COMAL COUNTY REQUIRES SEPARATE PERMITS FOR DRIVEWAYS, LANDSCAPING OR ANY OTHER IMPROVEMENT THAT ENCROACHES THEIR EASEMENTS – PLEASE CONTACT COMAL ENGINEERS OFFICE AT 830-608-2090 FOR DETAILS REGARDING OBTAINING A “PIP ROW” APPROVAL***

Building Fees, Real Estate Sales & Transfer Fees

Transfer Fee/Statement of Account – $150.00

Resale Certificate – $125.00

Expediting Fee- $175.00

Building Permit Fee for New Residence Construction – $250.00

Building Permit Fee for Current Home-Owner – $50
