POOL UPDATE – May 30, 2020

Canyon Lake Forest Family,

We regret to inform you that we will not be able to open the pool as we had planned this coming week.  Since our last meeting, we have learned that to opening the pool in a “Self-Monitored” status, without taking  formal measures to ensure the 25% capacity restriction and adding more stringent sanitation measures regarding all surfaces in the pool area per the recommended guidelines, could put our POA at risk.  Unfortunately, our Insurance Policy specifically excludes infectious disease and viruses and would not cover us should an adverse legal action be taken against us as a result during this unprecedented time.

We know this is very disappointing to many, ourselves included, so we will be sharing all details and reviewing all the options and potential costs at the Annual Meeting on June 13th at 10AM.  Please plan to attend the meeting and help us solution in the best interest of all our members.

This message will be posted on our website, Nextdoor and our Canyon Lake Forest Facebook page and our next update will be after the Annual Meeting or when the Governor lifts restrictions, whichever comes first.

We appreciate your patience during this time.
